Induction kit for mk2 octavia 1.9tdi pro,s and con,s?

Featured Replies

What are the pro,s and con,s of fitting a induction kit or replacment performance filter to an octavia mk2 1.9 tdi which has already been remaped?

TBH i wouldn,t bother.Sorry to dampen this but hopefully someone else might help you:thumbup:

Im with Taxi on this, not really worth it imo....just having the pipe between the scoop and airbox is bad enough.

Sat idling it sounds like a chug boat.

If you were to go with a performance exhaust system then i would consider a panel filter.

Just stick in a half decent panel filter (K&N or green) and it may just add a couple of bhp.......what's the output on yours now with the remap?

Just to give you an idea ...I happen to know of one that's remapped and has a panel filter on and is 153bhp ;) .....now wether thats a different map or better fuel I don't know but it's always worth a try......Awesome or JKM ( both sponsors on here) will very soon sort one out for you .....just hold on tight to your wallet as both Sarah or Kate will painlessly extract large sums of money for stuff you didn't know you wanted until you phone them
