Cycle carrier / roofrack for estate

Thought you might be interested in one solution for carrying bikes on the Octavia estate roof rails.

The bars are steel Atera ASR 122cm and the cycle carriers are Atera Giros. Would recommend the latter because they are well designed to enable one person to stick the bike in rack and lock it at shoulder height. Hoping to combine these with a roof box later.

After a 60 mile trip today, I would estimate the fuel penalty for the racks plus bikes to be able 5 mpg.
