Play in front ARB links

Featured Replies

Anyone know where i could source new parts from? Or any part numbers?

I can hear a loud clonking noise when going over bumps and potholes, and after havign cruise control fitted the garage left me a warning on the receipt saying it was these links.

Will it be the links themselves that need replacing or just the rubber seals?

Any help will be muchly appreciated :)

ttfn,

Pete

This price might be a bit out of date but the part number is, I believe, correct

You should just need to replace 1 x this link on each side (total: 2 parts) and then the play will disappear.

his is a 1.9tdi 100 i think

IIRC they have now been superceeded to an 'N'

All the links are the same.

My understanding is that the drop links on all of the fabia range are the same :)

So i would be able to fit the links yegnold suggested?

And is it an easy enough job for a newby with a haynes manual and basic maintenance skills?

Yes I believe you are right as I ordered some about a month ago.

I was told that they all use the same links now, and when I compared the new links to the old links I had on my car (04 plate) the new links are about 2-3cm shorter.
