To Wax or to Seal...........

Featured Replies

HI,

I currently use swissol wax when finishing off the car and although wax is suppose to give richer colour to dark cars i find that im getting a slightly hazy finish. This isnt that noticeable unless our right ontop of it but once you notice it its hard to get past it.

Was wondering what you boys and girls are using on your black magic cars and if switching to a synthetic sealant would be better.

All advice greatly appreciated

try the both method....

sealent applied to paint first, a couple times maybe... and finish off with a good quality wax... iam yet to try this but have been told it gives a quality finish.

A sealent alone will give a very cold appearing but highly reflective finish with sharp edges to reflections... it sounds like that is what you are after :)

This a sealer and a wax in one:

Bilt-Hamber Laboratories - Polish and Wax - Auto-balm

All you will ever need and a conventional wax can be applied over it if you wish

Any questions just ask.

hmmm, sounds interesting. I take it you apply and then buff. Might give it a go.

I take it you have to remove the current layer of wax on the car before you can apply?

No need to strip old wax off but if you have the time, I would.

Honestly, this stuff is awesome
