Resolution to bits & pieces under warranty

Featured Replies

The warranty on the Octy is up on 19th May. I'd like to get a few things checked out before then and it needs a service and first MoT too, so thought I'd get it all done in one go. I'm going to use Simpsons.

I'm a bit limited for time so was hoping to put it in on a Saturday morning. I'm just wondering what the position would be if anything couldn't be resolved there and then, and then the warranty lapsed?

Hope that makes sense! What I'm basically asking is whether it's a better idea to put it in separately, and earlier, to have bits looked at under warranty :D

Cheers,

Steve

If an issue is identified but not recitifed until after the warranty period has expired it will still be done FOC. Say if a part is on 4 week back order for example. The sooner you get it in for any niggles to be looked at the better.

OK, thanks - thought that would be the case, but never been in this situation before of only recently taken ownership before the warranty expires :)

There's nothing major on the list of things I want checking over, so likely I'll book it in and get things done in one go.

Cheers,

Steve
