Claim on warranty?.

Featured Replies

I have an 04 Fabia, approved used from Skoda main dealer.

Leaking brake cylinder was discovered today when vehicle was being serviced. Other brake components were contaminated with the brake fluid and therefore replaced along with the cylinder.

Car is still within it's 12mth Skoda used car warranty but does anyone know if I could make a claim for the costs of the above work, or would it fall into the "wear and tear" category?.

Thanks.

No harm in trying to make a claim. If brake fluid has been replaced every 2 years, the seals shouldn't fail.

Just make sure you read fully the warranty agreement to see what it covers.
