Windscreen washer delay

Featured Replies

When I operate my washers, after they have not been used for some time, the wipers do a complete cycle back to their starting point before any water comes from the nozzles. Is this normal as it can't do the blades any good wiping over a dry, dirty screen?

My dealer thinks it is OK but they sell the replacement blades don't they.

Is there a one way valve in the washer system that may not be working, and is it easy to get at?

Chris

Chris, it's normal mate! Won't do any harm. I don't let mine get too dirty before I use them again though.
