Black Diamond

Featured Replies

Yahooo! my black Diamond discs have arrived today :D . They won't be fitted until next week. It was a last minute decision as EBC have no castings left for the Octy RS, bummer. Does anyone have any experience of them, or any reviews?

Cheers

Si

The hardcore trackdrivers (ffelan and TaviaRS) seem to like them :D

What are you getting up to on your avatar?

I was wondering that aswell.

And how do you get an animated avatar - I want one....

Black Diamond discs are meant to be pretty good on all accounts. Are you upgrading your pads and fluid aswell?

dont worry.. just looking for somethin suitable to replace with :D

sticking with standard pads. My standard discs are warped, thats the only reason i'm changing. Can't be bothered messing around with wear indicators. (Getting new ones of course)

Are the black diamonds drilled or grooved or both?

You can get them drilled and grooved, or just drilled or just grooved. Mine are just plain grooved.

I would strongly recommend you uprate your pads then to a harder pad material. You'll end up going through pads like nobodies business otherwise.

What would you recommend? Ferredo, EBC Red Stuff, Brembo?

The ferodo DS2500 gets good reports for fast road use. Not too hardcore if you know what I mean...
