I have a 2 litre Fabia Estate (Dec03 / 38K) I also have a damaged nerve in my left leg and am thinking about a retrofit of an automatic gearbox as I really do like the easy drive of the Fabia and maybe my leg will never get back to 100%. Is such a conversion possible ? It does not have to be easy - that would be too much to hope for

no, the electronics that control the gearbox would be a right royal balls-ache to get working, other than that the actual mechanical parts you could mix and match form a mk4 golf and fabia 1.4 auto
