My wife have fabia -01. It is not posible to clear fault code by vag-com.409.1. Have anyone solve the problem to clear code? I have read this but cant get work:

Yes I am. There is problem with clear code for this vag airbag module 6Q0-909-605-A (if you read link).

If you have scanned the airbag controller and it is one of the ones listed on the ross tech website you won't be able to clear the code. As the page states you have just knackered the controller, you need to replace it.

If you had used an up to date (i.e. not pirated) version of VAG-COM you would not have knackered your airbag controller...

I have now changet te spiral inside steering wheel. I disconnected battery and change it. I think that before change the part Airbag module number is this:

6Q0-909-605-A

And now there stays 6Q0-909-605-H !!!

Is it posible that module number is changed? Is there posibiility to change it back? I think that module might be broken? :eek: :rotz:

Please help me. I can't take these problems anymore..

EDIT:

They can't also clear codes in Skoda warehouse.. :(

Does seem like the controller is broken, but I have no idea why the version of the controller should have changed, weird.
