Just thought I would post to see if anyone has had something similar

Driving home from work I could hear this strange sound of something opening and closing. Could not figure out what it was so stopped with engine running and lo and behold the sunroof is tilting up and down.

I have not used the sunroof since I have had the car (Was it trying to tell me something )

Checked and the dial was still on closed. So selected open and then back to closed and that was the end of it.

Faulty/corroded switch?
