Currently thinking of remapping 170 TDI PD Numerous companies offering service in car mags. Most seem to be around £400-450 mark. Anybody with experience of remapping similar engine?

I'd agree; got Bluefin on mine.

I have a TFSi vRS and use REVO which i find to be the better of all the remaps offered for Petrol.

As for Satan's fuel :P as already mentioned Blufin is quite popular. I know P-Torque do some good remaps too and a bit cheaper. Speak to Fluffmeister. He has had his Diesel Roomster "looked at" by P-Torque and was very impressed with the results

definitely tempted- particularly as they got 213 bhp from the seat!!

There a plenty of good tuners offering software for the 170PD models now.

I will say though, P-Torque were the first UK tuner to offer software for these models, and to date we have 0 DPF issues.

Price for members is £295.00 all in with dyno runs before and after. Depending on standard figures, we see approx 211hp and 330lbs/ft torque once mapped
