hi i was just messing around on the dash, and i have just reseted the service indicator by acceident. i just wanted to know is - is it each time you rest the service indicator is it all the same? or is it different?

if your car was on variable servicing, you have just set it to fixed 10k service intervals. You may have also upset the "what service is due next", ie. a full one one a simple oil change.

i think its just fixed because it reseted to 10.6k miles. upset what service is due? will that say on the dash? or just vag com?

What it says on the dash when on fixed intervals. For an oil service it usually displays OIL then the mileage, for a full service it shows "SERVICE" followed by the mileage.

well for me it shows nothig just and spanner with the mileage, then it changes to how many days till next service.
