Air Filter

Featured Replies

Hi All,

The Felicia is due for a service. I was thinking of getting a universal induction kit instead of a normal air filter as I can't seem to find any proper kits. It's mainly for the noise as I know it isn't going to make much difference to performance.

The only thing I was worried about was that valve thing (not sure what it's called) in the air box. If I do away with the air box what happens if this valve this is disconnected?

Has anyone else fitted one and do you have any pics?

Cheers, Aaron.

I haven't fitted one myself,as you say there wouldn't be much power increase.Green filters do do a single cone induction kit for the 1.3 felicia if i remember right there about £90 cant remember from which site though. As for the paddle bit i don't think you need to worry about that as long as you get the filter cone as close to the air inlet as possible.

I slapped a universal one on mine, dont worry about the valve, makes no difference. Noise gets quite good once the cone's been on 2000 miles or so  I can get you a photo if you want

It only states a 1.3 mpi. Do you reckon they are the same size and fitment?

I reckon so... both the 1.3mpi and 1.6mpi share the same air filter as far as I know.

Mmmm, interesting. I might email them.

I'll get you a photo up tomorrow  Dont worry too much about whether things will fit or not - it's really easy to adapt it to the existing pipe(s)

As promised:
