I don't know what's going on here anymore, but I do know I like potatoes!

same here, just don't ask me which of the varieties grown in the UK make the best mash and which make the best chips...:o:rofl:

to be fair, the fact that you work for holset does kinda put a different slant on the whole BB/garrett "argument" :D

So Bodge, how easy is it to get parts for these? holsetts not potatoes if you just joined the thread

I like that lol

if your looking at the 250-300bhp range then stick with standard bottom end and a hybrid K03 from the likes of turbo dynmics i'd say as although the turbo might cost you a grand you don't have to change oil lines, water lines, manifold, downpipe or anyting else like that, the most you would need really in terms of turbo fitment is a K04 tip and 3" maf :)

if your worried about blowing up a standard engine look how many others have been running 300-350 with engine issues :)

i've always wanted to know why the gt2860rs was known as the disco potato, maybe its to do with the shape of the compressor map?

There was someone on here a while back looking at fitting one of these:

Turbo Technics Hybrid

I think they told him it was designed for a longitudinal fit engine but they could make one up for the same price for the transverse engine... didn't hear anything more about it though
