Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer

Featured Replies

I'm in the US at the moment and spotted some of this in the local car parts shop

Meguiar's Direct Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer™

Is it available in the UK? Anyone tried it?

I have some space in my suitcase so might have to give it a try.

I've seen it in the UK at A1 motorstores. Good product for top ups between full detail work.

Maybe cheaper in the US...

Get one :)

I got some in the boot for emergencies

I had to bring out a second suitcase with 12 operating and maintenance manuals for a project we did out here recently.

It would be a shame to take it back empty!!;)

Good buy. Looking at the prices on Meg's website is crazy. They get charged the same as we do but it's in $. :(

Little bit late in the day for this reply but I was away all weekend and just got back online..........:o

Use this all the time on my details dependant on how I am feeling as the other option is Zaino Z8...........

If your still out in the US then you can source this in Walmart and another great place to go is Biglots as you will find some great 'end of line' items there for detailing, AutoZone is also a great place to visit..........:D

Baker. So what places do you recommend going? I'll be going over to orlando next week and plan on shopping :)

I bought my stuff from Advance Auto Parts - Advance Auto Parts

There's also a chain called O'Reilly Auto Parts which stocks a similar range - O'Reilly Auto Parts - Home

I've seen plenty of these stores in Arkansas but I'm guessing they are nationwide.

And as Baker21 says, Walmart has a reasonable selection too.

Megs, Mothers, Armorall, Rain-X, etc are common, but being America, they seem to like the "quick-fix" products - instant this, that and the other, spray-on miracle gunk for that super show shine etc etc. Lots of tyre gels and window cleaning stuff too.

They are a bit light on traditional polishes and waxes as we know them though, although they do have a few. Maybe more specialists shops would stock them if you can find any

Found any good deals on BiltHamber clay Andy?! :D

For me the best places to go to get the best range are Autozone and Pepboys - these places are like Halfords in the UK but as they are American they are bigger and better and stock more 'Detailing' items.

Then Walmart is a must as they sell so much stuff also included Megs Ultimate Quik Detailer which was cheaper there than Pepboys and Autozone.

My favourtie place is however Biglots, if you can find one then they stock end of line items so you can pick up brushes, waxes, Quik Detailer's for pennie's depending on what they have in store at the time........

Dependant on what Walmart you go to it can put some Halfords Stores to shame........:o

Went to a Walmart last time and bought a few things like Quick detailer, megs leather cleaner, drying towel etc. Much better than ASDA :)
