... Erm Dogbone engine mount.... bolt snap!! its not too good :rofl:

I'd guess its down to over tightening or due to the extra vibrations created by the stiffer mount you have?

Oem mount is back on... maybe the nut worked itself loose... wasnt a good moment :o

So you've gone from a stiffened mount back to oem temporarily (till you get the stiffened mount back on).. Yeah?

What was the difference like, was it as noticeable as you thought it would be?

no... i used to run the stiffer mount but whacked the oem on back on a couple of months ago....

IMO i wouldnt run an uprated mount unless it was a track day or similar as the vibrations are a pain :thumbup:

That's another crossed of the list of maybe's then ;)

i had the same problem, i drilled and tapped the oem dog bone with two m8 bolts and nuts, means i can adjust the stiffness of the bush by tightening the bolt against the bush, took me a couple of time to get it right, use the nut as a lock nut find what setting you want then tighten the nut against the dog bone.

bolt snap!! its not too good :rofl:

Only you lol lol

Fancy sellin it? ;):D:thumbup::rofl:

the whole car?? yip its on the cards... im lookin at crazy options. M3's, rx7's, supra's want somthing with a bit of oomph :cool::thumbup:

:rofl: was meaning just the dogbone :P

I was toying with the M3 idea, not a good idea as i've a wee one on the way :rofl:

Mind you, only costs me £600 to insure an M3 :D:thumbup:

I can live with my uprated doggiebone with the way it performs. It's not fallen off yet though. :P
