mk1 Octavia vRS tdi

Featured Replies

Well nothing of the sort exists, but since changing jobs and using my car everyday for work I have been driving my octavia differently and amazed at how its returning the favour.

Past 3 fill ups have been 401 miles, 432 miles and last week 458 miles from full to empty. This is a mixture of drivng to.

Not a chance of getting any better this week, as its all local-ish work, but I'm sure the 500 mile mark is achievable in the near future.

I'm estimating 25,000 miles a year on my already 5 month 10,000 miles in my new job. I know I'm better of with a oil burner, but I love me vRS.

Sarah @ Awesome GTI wil be loving me now with 2-3 services a year now. LOL.

:D:D:D

I managed 410 miles out of my last tank full, that was a long motorway drive to Southampton and back at the weekend plus some driving around Kent. I was over the moon with that figure but it never does so well when I'm just commuting in traffic around here :(

Oooh

Always great to see you my dear

Do you want me to upset you?????

£40 in my car , I regulally get 600 ish Miles ;)

But as you said , more services!!!

Must admit though , cracking car to be doing the miles in :( ooh I wish i was not poor :(
