GuardX

Featured Replies

Has anyone had GuardX treatment applied - if so, opinions please.

Is this like Supaguard and Diamondbright? One of these 'you never need to poilish your car ever again' type things?

If it is I have yet to read a good report about them. General thoughts are you are better spending the money on singular and better products.

It is a Diamondbrite/Supaguard type product only much better???? - endorsed by Mike Brewer - so it must be good ! There is also a video of his presentation on YouTube under "gardx protection"

NB It is spelt GardX not GuardX - must be of American origin!

As with the other products of this type, it is not entirely maintenance free, a conserver has to be applied monthly. This particular product carries an 8 year guarantee, although being pessimistic, some guarantees are not worth the paper they're written on.

I'm sure many new car buyers would be/are tempted by these type of products especially if it was included within the deal. Don't forget either, it is not only the paintwork treatment but also the upholstery whether it be cloth or leather.

good points....

also, that within a car finance deal the extra on a monthly payment would be minimal.... so tempts even more buyers..

I have had guardx inside and out. I have to say it must do SOMETHING because my car is a 2002 and had done 130k and the interior is absolutely spotless, no bolster wear, cracking or anything and the exterior paint work is immaculate. I noticed when it rains the water just beaded on it and i just assumed it had had a good wax before i bought it - then I found the guardx sticker. Im a bit peed off becuase i claybarred the car before i realised it had this stuff onm and think i may have removed a large part of it

I saw a black 2007 vrs at work and looked through the window and it was a wreck inside - stains, cracked leather etc, obviously a rep mobile and treated like sh!t to be in that condition at that age.
