Loan Approved. New car tomorrow :)

Featured Replies

It has taken a week for Natwest to finally sort out my papers. Loan goes in tomorrow then pick up my 07 VRS :)

Any tips for first day driving. I cannot wait

Yeah - don't crash.

Try not break any speed limits in it.

You may think your only doing 50 mph but actually ur cruising at 65mph in a 50 zone:eek:.

Part from that enjoy it like mad, btw petrol or diesel you got?

Drive it like you stole it!

only joking - take it easy initially, and if you want to try out that acceleration, try a long motorway slip road - there's nothing better!

Keep an eye on the speedo, and dont be too keen pulling away fast from standstill until you get used to it lol

Insurance have just quoted me £34 a month on a 2.0 turbo petrol

Works out cheaper than my 1.6 alfa 156!! and i've just turned 22

Which insurer?

That's third party fire and theft only I assume as if you're only being charged £408 a year for a 2.0 TFSI at age 22 on a comprehensive policy IMHO something is missing from the cover.

I mean that £408 will include a payment for the monthly plan and interest so that would seem stupidly cheap.

When engine running and idle the is a slight judder every now and then when stationary. Im hoping is just that the car has not been started for 2 weeks but is it anything I should get checked out? I still have 1 year left on warentee.
