Changing Unit Display on 2008 VRs TDI from miles to km

Featured Replies

Hi, I have recently bought a 2008 vRS TDi Estate in the UK and have imported it home to Ireland. I would like to be able to change the display from miles to km. The handbook says press the reset button momentarilt to do this but it is not happening for me.

I previously had a 2006 2.0 TDi with maxidot and it was easy to change the units on it. Can anyone help?

Hi again all I am getting nowhere changing my display on my new 2008 Vrs Tdi estate. I want to cahnge the reading from miles to km. Is this possible? I had a 2006 2.0TDi 140bhp with Maxidot and it was easy to do on that car but the Vrs has a different display which I have not managed to change.

I would appreciate any help on this as I live in Ireland and get paid car allowance per km and really dont want to have convert every day. Ok I'm a bit lazy so please help. Anyway first tank of fuel I got over 500 miles not bad a bit less than the 2.0Tdi 140 but still excellent considering the power on tap.
