Multi Function Display

That's what it stands for but I've never seen it displayed on screen...

MFD is displayed for a short period when you select the MFD function from the maxidot menu. I can't remember under exactly which circumstances but I've definitely seen it on mine.

It's not a warning and nothing to worry about.

MFD = Multi Function Display, the other choices (hold down right stalk end switch to access) are such as Audio, Bluetooth (when fitted) Setup. So MFD is simply telling you what MaxiDot is set to. MFD stays in the display, alongside the beeping, if you don't put your seatbelt on

comes on all the time on mine, didnt do it on my 55 L&K though so assume its a later addition to the maxidot.

Mine does it too.
