Invite from SEATCupra.Net to the East Anglia Rolling Road Day

Featured Replies

Hello all you Skoda cousins!!!!!

I'm a newbie in town, but would like to invite you Skoda guys to our Rolling Road day, at REVIVALS, Thriplow.

Its on the Hertfordshire/Cambridgeshire border, 10 minutes from Duxford Imperial War Museum.

We have a few spaces left, and we're opening them to all VAG cars (SCN members get first dibs though)

Anyway, its all day, on May 23rd. We'll be Bar-B-Qing, and generally having a laugh.

Thanks for inviting us (the forum) Mike - but bit far for me. Always nice to know we're welcome at Seat meets

Welcome to the 'nicer side' of VAG ownership forums ;)

Cheeky!!!!! ;)

Thanks for the welcome. And I thought SEAT was the nicer side!

I guess we're both just the poor relations of "ZEE FATHER BRANDS"

Still a couple of slots available

Hi Mike

Count me in if you still have a space available, what time would be best to turn up, as I don't live that far away and have a few things to do on Saturday.

Thanks

Gaz

Lunchtime onwards will be OK.

MkI Leons will be first chassis group running, and there a few of them.

I'll stick your name on the list.

Nice to meet you today Gaz.

Maybe we can have a hook-up Rolling road Shoot Out, Briskoda.Net vs. SEATCupra.Net

Anyway, was good to meet ya

Hi Mike

Thanks for invite, looked like you had a good day.

Sorry had to dash off but my son is supposed to be revising for his A levels so had to get him back to work.

Nice bunch of people will have to meet up again sometime.

I will check to see what Revo think i should be getting as 250 was a bit on the low side.

The tester did say it had a very nice power delivery though.

Thanks again:thumbup:

I'd have expected a little more, most stage 1 remaps, I'm led to believe, can give 30% extra, which would put yours at the 265bhp mark.

Saying that, the standard Leon Cupras were pretty close to what they were meant to be (the 210bhp model gave 222bhp), and the Ibiza FR's were fairly close too, the FR TDi 130 came in at 136bhp, and the FR 1.8 20VT should be 150 stock and gave 166.

The Vauxhall Monaro should have been 382bhp standard, and rolled in at 398bhp.

Still, was a good day, and was nice to see a Skoda cousin, we'll do it all again next year, and maybe we can get a few more of you Skoda guys along for the day.
