when i engage reverse gear it beeps only sometimes but even if i start reversing there is no sound. am i doing something wrong. also there is a small button on the doorpost between the drivers seat and the rear seat - what is this for. please help

I had problems with the sensors too. It beeped once when I put it into reverse then randomly beeped or sometimes not at all.

It turns out one of the sensors was faulty. Dealer diagnosed it on the computer in minutes.

The buttons is to disable the motion alarm so you can leave kids / dog in the car.

Luckily mine was under guarantee with the delaer as I had just bought it.

Yes, they should. Mine was replaced under Skoda warranty in 10 minutes.
