i think anyone on here would rather have a **** your pants scare fast skoda than a simularly fast bmw or another badge. havin a skoda that can blow your doors off is what does it for me.

hell no, if the insurance quotes I was getting weren't so daft I'd be in a 525d or 530d right now and if work was staying in Oxford I'd be in something like an Evo VI or VII.

:)

To answer your question, without digressing to ' buy an Evo or a bigger car as a starting point ' The simple answer has been stated many times here.

If you feel the car you have is worth spending the money on to set it up to exactly how you want it then whatever amount you spend on it , whether 3k or 30k then its worth it to you.

Everyone will have their own ideas about modding or buy something else, it just boils down to what you want & are happy with.

i'll add a proper comment when the car is fully remapped haha!

so you're running a hybrid turbo with your pre-hybrid Jabba remap? interesting :rubchin:

Its all about what you want. I bought the Furby with the intention of modding, i wanted something that looked normal but underneath was something very different.

I plunged with the PD150 upgrade and thought it was money well spent, but as things move ive subsequently had a further upgrade that was twice the amount of the first. The car is now very close to what i want but its cost me to get it there. Still like i said, it was the intention from the onset.

yer work was only done a month or two ago so jabba put a run-in map on the car at the moment. going to book it in to get fully mapped up on the rolling roads when i have time then it will be running at its peak! still a laugh at the moment though!

Is that what they told you? sounds a bit fishy to me.

was randomly able to have a quick word with a certain someone when I popped home for lunch and he said running a hybrid turbo with my current remap shouldn't cause a problem, it just wouldn't make full use of the it's potential.

lol its also to do with the fact i couldn't afford to get it put on the rollers for a day to be done! but just got back from nurburgring with kev and luke and now with the sale of a g60 supercharger i have the funds to get it all done! yay :D
