If you've got the time & money, anything is possible. :)

Yup,

Of top of my head you willl need..

Front suspension mods to allow steering

Front steering mods

Suitable RWD gearbox and custom mounts

Custom bulkhead

Custom transmission tunnel

Custom boot floor

Rear subframe of sorts

Rear Diff and axle

Hubs and driveshafts

Custom exhaust

Custom fuel tank

Just a start

hi,

as Jon said, with the right amount of $$$ anything is possible, however a well set up front wheel drive car can handle a lot more power than you would expect!

I'm sure they exist, but off the top of my head I cannot think of a rear wheel drive car with a transverse engine.

just get the 150 4x4 and drop the FWD

What about getting a 4x4 octy and locking up the haldex?

Rip out the front wheel drive stuff and dress up the 4x4 to be like a vRS.

Would that even work?

I know someone who did something similar to a Cavalier turbo.

*Bah, N7EJA types faster than me.*

as above

Your carrying an awful lot of weight to do nothing then and the tx box isnt designed to take full engine power and drive.

Or stick the engine in the boot - Like this mk3 Polo! I saw this at TOTB last year and it absolutely fly's

theres a video on "youtube" of a mk1 golf with a Hyabusa engine and rear wheel drive!!!! So yes, ANYTHING is possible.... Expensive - Yes, Pointless - maybe, Foolish even but ultimately Possible :D

I remember when I was a wee child I saw a Mk1 Scirroco Storm with 2 engines and 4 wheel drive!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted it so BAD.....

Dubsport have done a few twin engined Golfs before. Their Mk3 had 2 turbo charged VR6 engines!

Went like stink & sounded awesome.

Yes, drive everywhere in reverse :D
