R222 concourse

Featured Replies

know i should really have asked BEFORE I clicked on purchase but meh what the hell. Anyone used it? Some good reviews, but couldnt find any mention of it on here tho. Was only going to get some QD.... ended up with snow foam and wax but no bloody QD - idiot features! Halfrauds it is then for that, woulda cost me less goin there in the first place me thinks

I have a tub of P21s which is the older version and I think it's a great wax, works well on light coloured cars but I am afraid it's not that durable..........:thumbdwn:

I think my weekly usage of super resin destroys any durability of wax i put on lissy anyhow Baker!!! I reeeeealy should quit doin that. Sure no car has even seen quite so much tar remover and SRP

well - after a good cleaning I decided to cover Lissy in the R222 tonight, just finished her and I have to say so far she looks awesome. Up close you could really see the difference after it was buffed off. Really pleased with it and it didnt take that long at all. I shall be replacing my fortnightly super resin feasts with just a quick wash and wax now that shes protected and hopefully will stay lookin good till she needs an end of summer polish (august bank holiday) and few coats of wax before I give up and just pressure wash her daily over the winter

I have always been pleased with the P21s finish that it leaves and no surprise that your happy with the R222..........

Would recommend some Collinite 476s for the winter and then apply your R222 on top as the R222 on it's own won't withstand the harsh winter months for very long..........:(

No worries, Elite do a good little kit that may interest you if you take the plunge in the future:

WOW!!!! Water does not bead on my car.... oh no.... it runs off in rivers and refuses to stay on the surface now THAT is special!!!!!!!!!

I'll be giving my car about six coats of collinite for the winter. I cannot believe how good it is and how well it lasts. I only have 1 coat on my car at the moment but I'm not expecting it to need replacing for a good 3 or 4 weeks, maybe more.
