Can't really do this myself, so how much for dealer / independent to fit Eibach Pro kit (front and back) and do I need to tell insurance?

PM Lummox for a good quote to get them fitted at Unit 18 (between Milton Keynes and Wellingborough) and yes, you do need to tell the insurers as they won't load you much and the insurance loss adjusters are only too well aware of what a standard vRS looks like.

Yes you do need to tell the insurance, i've told my insurance. I've got no NCB and i had a incident last year.

I phoned up my insurance provider which gave me a quote the week before i added the springs at something like £74 for the remaining 10 months on my policy.

I called a week later and informed them of the fitting them the same day, the cost had dropped around £10.

They said that was for springs and uprated dampners.

'K thanks for info guys.

and FWIW it's not that difficult a job to change them over yourself...with the right tools:D

The strut splitter would be a really beneficial tool, as it was a complete pain in the rump trying to do it without.

Might give Unit 18 a call once I get my act together.

I would, Ross didn't charge me anything like £125 to fit the springs and the shocks, and he's less than an hour from you I reckon.

It's much better, but I have the full LCR/Powerflex/Eibach/Koni FSD/Jabba ARB setup. It was near-on £1000 fitted:eek:
