suspension question?

hi guys

i own a 2004 oct vrs and to my knowledge it hasnt been lowered but where ever i go i always seen to catch either the front bumper or i think exhaust bracket on the smallest bump or hole and thats without anyone in the back.

ive never known a standard car to have so much trouble with bumps and when i see you guys with lowered cars it makes me wonder how you dont loose your front bumpers etc

i was thinking of putting some coilovers on it but i dont really want to go any lower and it seems most lower the car by 15mm, i just want to harden the suspension up so i dont have to worry as much.

i was wanting to put an lcr splitter on but as the car is now i would spend more time fixing it back on or buying a new one.

any ideas?

Mine also hits the sump guard more often than I would like. I would not lower my car a mm more, it is far too low as it is as standard. If you make it any lower, you can't drive on normal roads.

I have lowered mine about 20mm with fsd's and h&r springs and I find my car is less likely to strike the road as on the standard suspension seemed to bottom out far to easily for me.

The only time I have ever struck the road was on standard shocks and I was driving about 15mph below the limit on the road.

Mines lowered on V3s and I've not had a problem yet. My Accord used to catch all the time, but this sails over speed bumps.
