Right Cubby Hole Heater/Cooler Not Blowing

Recommended Posts

The cubby hole on the right hand side no longer blows cool/warm air when the pull switch is open.

The right hand side blower works fine (I thought it took a feed from that one)

Anyone else had this?

Ta.

Just had the right console off.

Seems there's a pipe missing between the switch and the outlet from under the right blower.

Can someone confirm that there should be a pipe connecting the two.

I had cruise control fitted about a month ago, and believe they take this section of console off to allow them to get access.

Just need to make sure that there should be a pipe before I give them a ring.

Cheers,

Adam

There should be a corrugated rubber pipe that connects at one end to a hole on the underside of the dash air vent duct and at the other end to the cubby hole.

It's not just floating about, just disconnected at the cubby hole end?

Nope, definately not there.

Must have been taken off and not put back with the cruise control.

Will give them a ring on Monday.

There isn't a part code printed on it is there?

It'd be a massive help if anyone could tell me it.

Thanks,

Adam

When I was fitting my boost gauge I had most of the drivers side dash apart and the pipe that goes to the cubby hole popped off and it was a right **** to get back on and stay on due to the limited space so in the end I just left it off !

I dont use the cubby hole for anything so not bothered but if I want to keep something cool I just put it in the glovebox :D
