Alternative to Liquidguage - VI Monitor?

Featured Replies

Hello

Has anyone used one of these: LINK - VI Monitor

They are a bit more expensive that the Liquidguage so wondered what the benifits would be. It look visually more appealing but apart from that, can anyone see a difference?

£350. Expensive. U can get a laptop for that!

That does look very nice  I would like to see turbo boost and oil temperature on there though as these are the 2 readings I use mainly on the LG.

Agreed, they would be the main ones i would use. On the site it says:

"Monitor various parameters like speed, revs, engine load, water temperatures and pressures as well as many more* on 3 individual easy to read gauges."

But i would want a full list.

And yes, at £350.00 it needs to be alot better than the liquid guage. Apart from the visual aspect of it, i cant see much to make it better.

Looks nice, but for the money.....not sure.

The graphics look much nicer than the LG. and you can download the graphs to your PC. But for £350 you could buy a cheap second hand laptop and a copy of VAG-com and do that anyway!

Maybe if the price came down closer to £200 it would be worth a look.

Garry - I'm on holiday later this month, you're welcome to try the LG for a couple of weeks if you want? assuming the brake problem is sorted?

Yeah, price is high.

If i could borrow the guage that would be great. Im hoping (fingers crossed) to get my car back tonight (see problem thread) so could meet up some time :)

Kind Regards

Garry
