Hi , my wife got a 07 plate vrs fabia not long ago and i have noticed that it seems to

have some kind of hesatation at about 1800-1900 rpm in any gear .

when in neutral and i hold it at about these revs seems ok .

Does anyone have any ideas or come across this .

Any help would be great

yip have a search, due to the euro 4 engine... get it booked in at the dealer for the revised egr gasket

take it to the dealer mate.air flow meters are common faults on vag diesel engins

not too sure about the air mass meter , it boosts ok and there is no lack of power ,

will take it into dealers reference this egr valve gasket tho ,

if there are anymore ideas this would be great

it is the egr buddy... trust me...

have a search... its due to the euro IV emissions.... its the renowned BLT engine code stutter... which i dont have as i have an 04 reg with a Euro III engine with the ASZ engine code... woop woop

Emissions (compling to different standards/regulations) and possibly tax are the main things to the best of my knowledge.

emissions i believe... the 06 onwards cars had to comply with the new euro 4 emissions... so a new egr system was devised which gives the stutter... the earlier cars do not suffer with the problem
