What are the best pads to use with the Meguiars G220 Dual Action Polisher, for use on a Black Magic Vrs ?

I have been using the Meguiars pads along with the Meguiars 83 and 80 polishes, but they dont seem to be doing much, i have spent hours trying to rid the bonnet of small scratches and swirl marks but dont seem to be making much progress,

Is there a better combination of pads/polish that i could use, or is just down to technique ?

If you have the Megs Burgundy Pad then you will have more success using some Menz or 3M polishes on VAG paint I am afraid..................

I have some of the Megs Polishes and haven't used them in a long time as they just don't seem up to the job, I have however just purchased some Megs 205 and 105 which I have been informed work well but with different pads achieving 95%+ correction.............
