Trojan Horse

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, can anybody help me with a rather annoying problem i'm having with my PC. Basically I picked up a Trojan Horse called Smayymk. My AVG picked it up in a scan and deleted it. Just thought i'd make sure it had, so I found the file and it is still there as well as another few called Smayymk.dat and Smayymk_nav.dat. I know with most Trojan Horses you can just delete the file and everything becomes good but this one wont delete. It will delete 2 out of the 3 files, then it says that I dont have permission to delete the last one, then several seconds later the 2 files re-appear. I'm guessing it has changed a registry key or something but I'm not clued up on this at all. Any sugestions would be appreciated. I'm running Vista by the way.

If not superantispyware / combofix and smitfraudfix are also excellent :)
