Hello does anyone have the part number for this, Does anybody know if one from a standard fabia (03-onwards) will fit?

As far as I am aware, all mk1 fabia are the same except for letter revisions

Could you explain what you mean by letter revisions please? Only, I have just bought one off a 2007 car for an 2001 model.

If it's of any use, I got quoted £158.07 and £150 (1hrs labour) for the steering rack on my vRS from the dealer.

You do yes I believe.

Dunno where you are based, but VAGTune in Aylesbury (Bucks) quoted just shy of £200 to fit including tracking. That was if I supplied the parts though.
