good question some stuff i got off a guy at work it made by 3M will find out what it is when its not raining as its in the car

put sum duck tape just above the badge...heat with hair dryer...use a small screw driver to lift the top edge using the tape as paint protection...prise off gently.

I wish my car was that clean.

Hello,

Dribble petrol carefully behind lettering etc, this will melt/ breakdown glue badge adhesive, without damaging any paintwork.

Once badge and goo is removed and area thoroughly dried, give a good polish.

Used this method when in the car trade, many moons ago.

Hello mooragerx7,

You've done a grand job polishing your car, you can do mine anytime. LOL

Your passenger wiper blade sits rather high, is that to your advantage somehow. ??

Nice and shiny mate, nice car as well

whats this teflon stuff then?

cheep ebay wipers are a bit too long and were scraching the paint work so to counter that have adjusted them so they stop higher up

Something similar sounding was discussed a few weeks ago - http://briskoda.net/styling-car-care/teflon-polish/146242/

The general opinion was that it is snake oil.

However, the results above aren't bad at all. Will be interested to hear how it performs over time - what will the beading be like in a month or two?

Its called Ultra-SP and it came in a black bottle got it though a guy at work cant tell you any more about it except what it says on the bottle which is "Worlds ULTIMATE 'Shine and Protect' Car Waxing System"

This is the stuff i use to clean off the sticky stuff left buy the badges

Please guys, don't put a screwdriver anywhere near your paintwork! Get a long strip of dental floss wrap each end around your fingers, then using a back and fourth motion work your way down the back of the badge.... no risk of scratches...
