Just about to fit a shiney new set of RS4's the weekend, will i have to get the wheels alligned after fitting?

I don't think its necessary but might be advisable.

Taking wheels off and putting others on shouldn't change any alignment - otherwise it'd be screwed everytime you got a flat tyre!

Although correct alignment and tracking will make the rubber last longer

If its been a while since it was last checked or you've never had it done its probably worth while getting alignment checked jsut to make sure all is well.

You want to at least get the new wheels balanced, so you might as well get the alignment/tracking done at the same time.
