Featured Replies

Just crossing over from the retro BMW world, with the help of a 2ltr 02 octy. I was just wandering if there are any mods worth doing to get a it more bang for the buck, its already lowered and has nice alloys.

Cheers in advance

stitche i think you may find you have a 1.8 ltr engine:)

2.0 litre petrol engine 115bhp 8V as fitted to golf GTi was fitted to the X reg ambiente estate ,first skoda I bought .Engine codes apk, aeg, azj, aqy, azh ,still in use from feb 2002

I think the answer is an unhelpful "If I were you, and going there, I'd not start from here". Seriously, most tuning work on Octys concentrates on the turbo-charged models (1.8t and 1.9TDi engines), because that's where you can get the biggest gains for the least money (30 to 50bhp for ~£500 tops).
