Hi All... My new Nokia E71 cellphone (WCDMA 850mhz) connects just fine via the remote sim access fitted in my new Superb, but picks up no signal. Finds a GSM G2 Vodafone network but I,m not connected with them. Anyone know if an upgrade is available for WCDMA?

When in RSAP mode, your phone is nothing more than a provider of the sim data to the car kit built into the phone. The phone is not making calls, not receiving signal or anything as this is all being done by the kit fitted into the car. If you are getting no signal on the phone display then this is correct as the phones functions are all disabled when connected via rsap.
