Zenec Radios

Featured Replies

Does anyone have a Zenec radio fitting in their Octavia, I have just collected my VRS and want to change the radio to a different unit and have found that Zenec radios do VAG group OEM replacements.

there are 2 models which was was looking at the ZE-MC5600 which is specifically for SKODA and also the soon to be released ZE-C5602 which looks alot better! and appears to have a better user interface.

I was also looking at the Pioneer AVIC-F900BT but the Zenec units look like they are factory fit and most thiefs would probably ignor them over a pioneer unit!

I still think that Pioneer is a better choice when talking about quality and specifics (I don`t mean that zenec is crap, but...) and a 2-din-player fits very well in the dash so that is no problemn either.

if you want the OEM look becker do some very god oem look head units.

Also the pioneer SQ units such as the P88 are quite subtle aswell, all single din tho :(

I Have been looking around this afternoon at various shops and decided to get a Pioneer 4100DVD which i have had fitted to the car. Sounds much better that the old Skoda unit and looks better as well. It does not do Bluetooth or Navigation but then its things i don't need. I have a Bury Bluetooth kit fitted which is very good , possibly better than the pioneer, and my Tom tom GO will do for navigation.
