A few teaser photos

Just got my car bad from its 70k service. Supposedly only an oil and filter service but ended up costing almost £1400  A HUGE thank you to Paul and Tony at Alex Lawrie Skoda for the fantastic service they offer as usual :thumbup:Got the wheels refurbished in a rainbow silver colour after smashing the car into a dual carriageway kerb recently  Had a few dents pulled out using pdr too. All ready for a proper detailing session hopefully this weekend :)

Enjoy the pre-detail photos (can't have Baker21 and the rest of the recent detailing threads outshining me can we )

Nice! I think the Octy vRS wheel really suits the Fabia vRS.

out of interest, when you do you detail and you (no doubt) list the extensive cleaning process could you next to each part explain the benefit of doing each bit for someone who doesn't really know much about cleaning cars short of sponge water soap dry :-D

also - looking good.

Wheels are looking good! I'd love to see them in full sunlight

I love the wheels Octy Spiders (I have some myself). That finish is quite interesting. I think I'm too old or insecure in my masculinity to have that done to mine though;)

Very nice mate

What caused it to cost £1400 for the service?!!?

Steve

Looks tidy. What is pdr by the way?

I really like that rainbow effect on the wheels, nice to see something different :D

Sunlight pics are needed :D:D:D

Nice one, first time I've seen that finish :)

pdr - paintless dent removal?

I love metal flake, especially in rims!

Top work fella:thumbup:

Tony and Paul are great guys.

So what cost £1400 Irf?

Oh and would you recommend the PDR you used? If so contact details please :D

Yeah, contact details of a good PDR company would be good

wheels look really good, nice finish!

How friggin much did you spend on a service

  • 2 months later...

I used ChipsAway a few months ago for one in my nearside rear door(carpark 'rash' from some inconsiderate so-and-so bangin their door into mine!), they come to your house/work etc. Had all the bonnet stone chips sorted in the same visit, it was just over 100 notes, and the repair is invisible, would definiately recommend them. Plus the guy gave me the little pot of the matched paint that he had left over, which may come in useful!

Sorry for not updating this thread. I asked my local Skoda dealer who they used for their repairs and I used the same person. That way if anything wasn't right I could complain to the dealer lol.
