I have recently traded my Seat Toledo (Se TDi on 02 plate) for an Octavia II 2.0 TDi Elegance (on an 05 plate). I was choosing between the Passat and Octavia but after looking at the Passat I felt that the Octavia was the better car. Maybe it was the Passat I test drove, but it creaked and clunked and did not feel as comfortable or as well built as the Octavia. Also the Octavia was rated as more reliable by JD power. So hopefully I've spent my money wisely.
