octavia vrs 17s on a fabia vrs??

Featured Replies

I have been led to believe that octy 17s bolt straight on the fabia VRS but do they look stupid without the Fabia being lowered at all. I want Octy 17s but dont really want to lower her yet. Any opinions???:D

Yes they will fit.

I think a tyre size change is required. Its recommended to keep the tyre circumference within 3% of the original, so assuming you do this there will be very little chnage with regard to how they fill the arches - its just that in side profile you will see more metal and less rubber if that makes sense.

Loads of threads on the subject - and plenty of pics - if you use the search.

They don't look especially stupid, but like all very low profile tyres (they need to be something like 215/40/17 or 205/40/17) they do accentuate the gap between the tyre and the wheel;arch.

To put it simply, they look their best with the car dropped a bit.
