1.4 Starting Problems.

Evening.

Right my mum and dads Fabia 1.4MPI is playing up. Now the car sometimes starts fine and will for maybe the whole day but it soons stops. All the lights come on the dash and go off (the normal cycle) But you go to start it up and it will just turn over and over, It might not start for mins or even hrs, You can smell the unburnt fuel aswell.

Now sometimes the ECU light comes on even while driving and its been doing this for alittle while, Before the starting problems.

I have Vagcom but am having trouble with it on this laptop, It does show a starter motor impulse problem.

Please help.
