Right then. I know I have a problem with the microswitch for the lock open position on the drivers door. I have stripped it and repaired it once with a shaped tile spacer to replace the pin ( My eyes hurt after doing that one) but it went again anyway. However I didnt get a recurrence of the "non priming fuel pump" which caused me issues with the LPG system, so I was happy to ignore it.

The central locking on the drivers door stopped working but is ok on the key and the rest of the doors work off the fob.

Now it has progressed: the heated electric mirror has stopped working as well? I stripped the Door control unit plug and cleaned up the contacts as there was some corrosion but it is still the same?

Is it likely to be the door control unit or the Central convenience unit that is at fault?

Had the same prob with mine bud, the door loom was rotten on the inside,:( if you un-plug the loom and give the wires a tug i think it is mainly the red and yellow wire will come away, you will need a new loom i'm afraid.:thumbdwn:

Your door loom and/or door ctrl unit will think it is a sponge and be rotten and wet bud, :( had the same problem, if you pull the wires goin to the ctrl unit they will come out of the plug esp the red and yellow one.:thumbdwn:
