Looking for a set of front brake pads for my 51 plate Octavia 4X4 1.8T

Currently got Ferodo and they are squealing like hell despite only doing 3000 miles, not impressed. Standard discs fitted.

Anybody had good results with other makes?

If so you need to bed them in properly and give them a bit of stick or they will glaze over.

Just put some Black Diamond Predators in mine, seem good so far but still bedding in so hope they get even better.

Changed the discs too (ZeroSixtys from Awesome). which may also account for the better braking:rolleyes:

yeah the black diamonds do bed in and become a lot sharper but they feel very poor until they do. I would rate them as better than standard for every day driving and also better for heavy braking with less fade.
