Hello and welcome to this forum.

The way that diesels work, a dump valve will not do anything at all if you fit one. This is because a diesel does not have a throttle valve and does not restrict the airflow into the engine, unlike a petrol one. You can fit an electronic operated dump valve, this will produce the sound of one but will not do anything to the performance of the car.

Now you are a member, if you really want one, you can do a search on here for companies that sell them.

Forge motorsport did one, but looks like they have stopped it now.

A search on youtube will show a few tdis with dump valves.

They do decreace performance slightly when gear changing, as it dumps more pressure than it needs to, but i bought it for the sound.
