I bought an Octy II Elegance TDi model and I'm a bit curious about some things on it, is there any way I can tell if it's been altered?

it's small things that make me think about it, it doesn't auto-lock when I drive off which is standard on Octy IIs for example.

auto locks can be done at the dealer, there isnt really a way you can tell, if you do find someone with a vag com they might be able to tell from fault list what or how long ago the car was diagnosed.
