no, always been HYDRAULIC

Yes totally hydraulic, it uses the brake fluid with a slave cylinder inside the gearbox, as part of the thrust release bearing.

ohhhh i seee......has it ever been known 4 the fluid ever to leak on to the cluch or dmf??????

If it does leak you'll be losing fluid. Do you have a clutch problem?

yeah its slippin (read slippy slip)but the reason i ask is that i have warrenty on the car and they will only replace it if its contaminated instead of worn.....so with-in reason im hoping that to be the cace or i will have a bigg big bill to pay :(:(

Clutch fluid contamination would be minimal, and tends to cause snatching rather than slip. So more than likely it's the clutch plate that has given up.
