Outside air temperature sensor

Featured Replies

Hello, Does anyone know where is the outside air temp sensor is located ? I had a small accident from the front and suddenly i found that the temp is reaching 40s! I suspect its near to the radiator and its reading the engine temp, but donno exactly where it is.

I was told it was down by one of the front fog lights / where the front fog lights would be, i havnt actually checked this however.

I though my OAT sensor was up the creak yesterday, turns out it actually was 33 degrees in the UK yesterday, whats going on, anyone would think its summer or something!

If you look on the lower grill (on the standard Octavia anyway) on the passenger side, there is a about 25mm diameter hole. The sensor is behind this. The grill pulls out and you can see the sensor and wiring.
